Biography
Courtney Walter is a Senior Associate at Mitchell Sandler. Her practice is focused on litigation and labor and employment matters. She advises employers on a wide variety of issues involving restrictive covenants, unfair competition, Wage and Hour, trade secrets, and Title VII. Before joining the firm, Courtney worked at an AmLaw 50 law firm in Washington, D.C., where she represented companies in investigations, disputes, and litigation matters, including those in the areas of employee benefits, labor and employment, and healthcare.
Previously, Courtney served as Senior Counsel at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she provided the Solicitor of Labor and senior leadership with legal advice and counsel on matters involving rulemaking, litigation, and legislation. She served a two-year federal clerkship for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to her clerkship, she practiced civil litigation as an associate attorney for a boutique law firm in Miami.
